Hello ladies and gentlemen! I've been getting numerous of comments lately based on my IDS Clinic Review (link) to do a review on Healthsprings Clinic. There's no sponsorship involved and I will be writing the review based on my own experience.
Alright. I've started visiting Healthsprings on 30.06.2014 after a recommendation from my good friend. I was first consulted by Dr. Chan because Dr. Soh was busy. After the consultation, Dr. Chan gave me Vitamin C Serum, Scrub, Moisturizer and Gel Cleanser to try out. I was told to only put Vitamin C Serum at night and use Face Scrub twice a week and would have to go back for review after a month.
Fees for first visit (including products above and consultation fee) is around $243 (can't remember the exact price).
Not sure if I've mentioned about the tiny bumps when I used IDS cleanser, for Healthspring's, I do not see any tiny bumps on the surface of my skin. Just 3 days of usage, all my tiny bumps are gone! Really thankful for that. The moisturizer isn't oily at all and it leave my skin supple and smooth. (:
On my first follow-up with Dr. Soh (finally I can see her), she told me that the bacteria in my body has to be eliminated so that new pimples will not be formed and skin can have enough time to heal. So, she prescribed a month's dosage of Borymycin pills and added on Pimple Gel to my skincare routine. I was told that Borymycin is a new version of Doxy and cost twice as much, and since Doxy doesn't have any effect on me, so I opted for Borymycin instead.
Another month passed and I couldn't be more thankful. My skin hasn't developed any big bumps since then and small pimples heal pretty fast on its own. There're still occasional breakouts because of my stress level and hormonal peak, but it's much lesser and smaller than it used to be.
On the second follow-up, Dr. Soh gave me 2 months of Borymycin because she said that it will take around 3-6 months of dosage before the bacteria is completely eliminated. So yeah, been consuming the pills after breakfast every single day. I'm thinking if I should consider doing the chemical peel? Dr. Soh said that it could fade away my acne marks. Hmmm.. $150 for one treatment, should I go for it?

ReplyDeleteHi Josie, I went to see Dr Ee at The Clifford Clinic for my acne. He was very helpful and his treatments helped a lot!
ReplyDeleteHello! I was interested in getting these products for my acne condition after reading your reviews. However I wrote to the clinic asking them for the ingredients list (I have sensitive skin) and they refused to give me the information and insisted I make an appointment for consultation. Are you able to share the ingredients list for the clarifying cleanser and vit c serum?
